Cae Tan CSA is a Community Supported Agriculture Project based on The Gower Peninsula in South Wales. We grow & supply fresh, seasonal produce to our members weekly & all year round.

We offer training & volunteering opportunities to a range of groups & individuals. We work with local schools & community groups to raise awareness of sustainable farming, reconnecting people to the land & their food.

Right now we are seeking to purchase the fields we farm at Furzehill, Lunnon on Gower.
Please help us by making a donation or read more about our crowdfunder.

Cae Tan are seeking to purchase the fields we farm at Furzehill, Lunnon on Gower. The aim is to put the land into community ownership to secure access for growing food into the future. Read more on our crowdfund page.

Cae Tan is a not-for-profit Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) scheme based on Gower. We have now been running for ten years and have established ourselves as Wales largest and most innovative CSA.

Our main growing fields are currently leased on a short-term rental contract. Our project is to bring this land into community ownership so that it can be used for environmentally sustainable community growing for generations to come.

Purchasing the land we farm will secure the community and environmental benefits Cae Tan can bring, and is already delivering, for the long term. Unless we are able to do this, we will always be at risk being given short term notice of losing access access to land where we have worked to build long-term soil health in harmony with the local environment as well as facilities for volunteers and groups to visit. The fields we are proposing to purchase are ideal for growing seasonal produce and working with volunteers and groups.
